Don’t Click It is built on a simple truth: if it seems too good to be true, don’t click it. Nearly three-quarters (73%) of Americans have experienced an online scam or attack. Stellar Cyber believes the cybersecurity community has a responsibility to help everyone build better digital instincts. Senior citizens are a frequent target of online scams; however, research shows that Gen Z is surprisingly the most at risk compared to Baby Boomers.
This year, the program takes on new energy as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, highlighting the journey to a Human-augmented Autonomous SOC:
- Humans in Control – AI and automation drive speed, but humans remain at the heart of decision-making. Just as SOC analysts augment AI, people must sharpen their awareness to make safer online choices.
- Raising Awareness Everywhere – To celebrate Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Stellar Cyber and its partners are launching 30-second PSAs on LinkedIn from CyFlare, Blackswan Cybersecurity, Enhanced.io, ESET, and SpearTip bringing fun, engaging content to remind everyone: Don’t Click It.
- A National Call to Action – On October 16, Stellar Cyber will host the 2nd annual celebration of National Don’t Click It Day, mobilizing partners, customers, and communities to spread the word and encourage safe digital behavior.
